Our founder, Alex, has 15 years of experience in crafting beautiful wooden wares – after an unexpected layoff from the phone company, he turned his hobby into a business and now helps people create pieces that reflect their unique tastes. |
Why Did I Start This Business? 
Well, after my ex-boss let me go, I was feeling pretty down. Can you believe they gave me and a few hundred other people the boot after all those years of blood, sweat, and tears, only for the CEO to score a huge bonus the very next week?! That was it, I thought to myself: do I really want to go back to working for a big corporation that only cares about its profits? Heck no! So why not take a chance on myself and do something I truly love? Starting my own business was the answer. And let me tell you, it's been quite a ride! For one, I don't have to deal with Susan from HR anymore... So, yes, I'm beyond grateful for this opportunity and I want to thank you for trusting me with your business.

I purchased these boards for my two children and their children I thought they might enjoy something unique. They are well made and hopefully we'll get much use. The only thing I didn't get was a deck of cards I thought might have been added to each box. But I received my order as prompt as it was promised it was in good shape when I got it and I'm going to deliver them to my children tonight or tomorrow.
I spoke directly with Alex because I had a request that he normally does not do. He was willing to give it a try and texted me several photos for my approval prior to personalizing the back of the board. Such great customer service! He is very flexible and responsive and does beautiful work. Highly recommend!!

Alex came through for us again! We have ordered his hand-crafted items for over a year now for our Bed & Breakfast. First, the customer service is great. Alex is responsive and friendly. He was helpful in making sure I got exactly what I was looking for on a custom piece that was going to be a gift. He delivered exactly what I wanted and the tray looks great! It was a great gift for a huge UConn fan!
